Briefs: Tyro chief product officer moves to Cuscal, new IMB Bank director, Pepper issues RMBS

Bronwyn Yam, chief product officer, Cuscal

  • After six years at Tyro as chief product officer, Bronwyn Yam has moved to Cuscal as its new chief product officer. Prior to working at Tyro, Yam spent 12 years at Commonwealth Bank in a variety of roles, including managing director commerce and platforms.
  • The former chief executive of Virgin Money Australia, Brian Bissaker, has joined the board of IMB Bank as a non-executive director. Bissaker’s CV also includes group executive at Bank of Queensland and chief executive of Colonial First State. He is currently a director of MetLife Insurance, where he chairs the audit committee, and is chair of Artega Investments Administration. He replaces Jan Swinhoe, who is retiring after serving on the board since 2014.
  • Pepper Money has priced a A$675 million issue of residential mortgage-backed securities. PRS 36 (PP) is backed by a mix of conforming and non-conforming mortgages. It is Pepper’s second RMBS issue this year; it raised $1 billion in February. Because PRS 36 was a private placement pricing details have not been released.
