Briefs: new ANZ Taiwan CEO; Pioneer Credit appoints CIO

ANZ's new Taiwan CEO David Leong

  • ANZ has appointed David Leong as Taiwan chief executive. Leong has been at ANZ for 15 years and was most recently joint coverage head, specialised industries and local corporates, based in Singapore. He has also had executive roles in Hong Kong and China. Before joining ANZ he was head of transaction banking in Korea and head of trade and supply chain in China for Standard Chartered.

 

  • Debt buyer Pioneer Credit has appointed Ian Brunette as its chief information officer. His first job will be to lead the implementation of a new debt management software system, supplied by C&R Software. Brunette’s previous roles include head of platform operations and infrastructure at Bankwest and head of IT infrastructure and operations manager at HBF. He replaces Joe Terribile, who has left the company.
