Briefs: Douugh and Stripe partner, Gadens regtech service

  • Open banking start-up Douugh has partnered with Stripe, allowing Douugh customers to link their Mastercard and Visa debit cards to their Douugh account. The company said this “instant funding” feature would be a faster alternative to an automated clearing house. Douugh’s customers allow the company to collect and analyse their banking data, and then offer a range of budgeting and financial tools.

  • Law firm Gadens has launched a “digital regtech platform”, designed to help financial institutions comply with stricter breach reporting regulations that take effect later this year. Gadens claims that its Breach Manager service streamlines information gathering, assessment and reporting. Breach reporting rules that start on October 1 include changes to reporting timelines and a broader range of reportable circumstances.
