Macquarie rethinks bonuses

Macquarie Group may include more long-term incentive payments, such as shares, and fewer short-term incentive payments, such as cash, in the bonus arrangements for its staff, the Financial Review reported.

The bank has already made change along these lines for its chief executive and senior management team.
