LVR caps rise in NZ

Westpac is again willing to lend at loan to valuation ratios of more than 80 per cent, and as high as 90 per cent, at least in New Zealand, The Press reported.

The newspaper reported that Westpac was advertising the availability of loans with higher LVRs.

Mortgage brokers also reported that other banks were willing to lend at LVRs of more than 80 per cent.
