CBA snippy with ANZ over convenience claims

The Australian reported that Gilbert+Tobin, acting on behalf of CBA, sent a please explain letter to ANZ how the bank can claim to be "Australia's most convenient bank", the theme of ANZ's current paid advertising (and which features stodgy bank branches reminiscent of those of CBA 15 years ago).

The letter reportedly points out that CBA has many more banking outlets than ANZ and asks that ANZ drop its advertisements.
