Bidgee in receivership

27 November 2008 5:27PM
Directors of Bidgee Finance this week appointed KordaMentha as receivers. The firm had frozen redemptions of debentures three weeks ago, one of many niche financiers to do so given the shift in savings caused by the government's guarantee on bank deposits.

Bidgee, based in Mildura, provided agricultural and business finance mainly to clients in northern Victoria and southern New South Wales.
