RACQ CEO drives south

RACQ Bank has lost its CEO, Michelle Bagnall, who is headed for Victoria as the new CEO of Bank First.

Bagnall replaces William Wolke, who will be retiring some time in late 20202 after 18 years at Bank First.

Before joining RACQ in early 2018, Bagnall worked in senior roles at Suncorp and at NAB and the Royal Bank of Scotland before that.

Bernie Lloyd, chair of Bank First, told members: “With our culture being a critical component of our story, Michelle was able to demonstrate a positive alignment to our values and culture including leadership attributes highlighting a strong people focus.

“Michelle is also drawn to our focus on people in the education and healthcare sectors who build community.”

Bank First has A$2.8 billion in assets and more than 115,000 members.
