Living with and loving inflation

15 November 2024 2:43PM

Learn to live with it. Get along with it.

Embed a bit of a higher rate of inflation and higher rates of inflation for long, long periods of time.

Tell me what’s really wrong with that.

This is the superior, livelier and most promising of the range of policy options available.

Anything resembling the status quo is terrifying and horrifying. Not happening for that reason.

Higher inflation for longer. Suits me fine.

Look we’ll all adapt so easily to higher rates of inflation, and fuel it if need be.

My model is highly inflationary and I count this the main point of difference.

Let’s get excited about inflation and put inflation to use for the public good.

Anthony Albanese is free to pick any rate of inflation he cares to live with and thinks he can manage politically.

Albanese is leaning to living with and learning from periods of higher rates of inflation, the most overrated ill ever.
