The former chief executive of Westpac New Zealand, Brad Cooper, has joined the board of Credit Corp Group. Cooper’s executive career also included Westpac chief transformation officer, CEO of BT Financial Group and managing director of GE Consumer Finance. He replaces Richard Thomas, who is stepping down after 16 years on the board. Payments company Change Financial has signed Credit Union Auckland to use its Vertexon card issuing and payments management system – its second contract signing in New Zealand. Based in Brisbane, the company operates globally. It earned revenue of US$4.3 million in the six months to December, with the majority of sales in South East Asia, and made a loss of US$2 million.
