From sustainable lending to sustainable audit - ANZ's Paul Orton

  • ANZ has promoted its head of resources, energy and infrastructure, Paul Orton, to the role of group general manager internal audit. Orton has been at ANZ since 2009. Before that he had senior roles at NAB and Deutsche Bank. He succeeds Shane Buggle, who was appointed acting chief financial officer in February.

 

  • humm group has contracted with Mastercard to offer a digital card that allows humm-accepting merchants to process a transaction without having to go a time-consuming integration. The new service, humm//TAPP, enables use of a digital wallet activated with TAPP to make a purchase at any humm merchant, regardless of the point of sale system in use.

 

  • PayPal has upgraded its payment processing, enabling instant transfer via the New Payment Platform and Visa Direct. Working with its Australian banking partner NAB, the new feature is available to eligible small business and consumer customers of PayPal Australia.
