Bendigo the farmers' favourite

25 October 2023 5:43AM

Bendigo Bank has been rated the most trusted agribusiness bank, in a Roy Morgan survey of Australian farmers. Based on responses from more than 1000 farmers, Bendigo Bank received high ratings for maintaining long-term relationships, community support and reliable customer service. The next most trusted brands were NAB and Commonwealth Bank. Rabobank was rated highly by farmers with higher revenues (over A$1 million in annual revenue) and NAB was he most trusted agribusiness bank in Tasmania, but overall Bendigo carried the day. Respondents rated competent staff, value for money and industry knowledge as the most important attributes in a banking relationship. Roy Morgan chief executive Michele Levine said: “In the farming and agribusiness industries building and maintaining trust is a key pathway to developing business relationships.”
