Veda expands into marketing with ReachTEL acquisition

Data analytics and credit reporting company Veda has acquired ReachTEL, a market research and communications business operating in Australia and New Zealand.Veda chief executive Nerida Caesar said in a statement that ReachTEL's platform would be integrated with Veda's existing fraud, marketing and collection services.ReachTEL's services include voice broadcast, SMS broadcast and data validation. These capabilities are used to deliver communications services that include automated market research, political polling and collection services.Caesar said: "Combining Veda's extensive data with ReachTEL's research capability enables more targeted outcomes for Veda customers and improved outcomes for ReachTEL's customers."This acquisition provides Veda with the opportunity to offer market research services to existing customers."
