Macquarie on and off the money in staff search

03 October 2016 4:35PM

One handicap in a job search must be the utility, or lack of it, of advertisements for job openings if your hunt is centred on reviewing listings at job boards. So a shout out today to Macquarie Group, a rare employer with a habit of promoting their identity in the jobs listings that Banking Day white-labels from eFinancialCareers. We spotted 15 jobs at Macquarie at today's job board, close to a quarter of the total - and a fat majority of the posts we shortlisted as worth a closer look. So good on them.On the other hand, like practically every other advertiser, a stated salary is absent in the Macquarie ads, an impediment to job search.Take a close look yourself. Invest a few moments this long weekend in your career at the Banking Day jobs board.Or help a friend or colleague find a new job.
