Macquarie Bank confirmed to the Financial Review that it will launch credit cards, both under its own brand and under a white-label program, from April. The AFR reported that Macquarie expected to have a few hundred thousand cards on issue in the next three years, with the bank's own customers - presumably drawn mostly from the ranks of private clients - the initial target.
