GRG buys 239 Suncorp ATMs

Most of Suncorp Bank's Sydney ATM fleet is to be owned and operated by GRG Group, the latter announced yesterday.GRG, a newly listed ATM firm, said it will pay up to A$15 million in cash and shares for eFunds Pty Ltd and two related companies, ATM Serve Pty Ltd and Electronic Retail Solutions.GRG said there were 239 ATMs installed under Suncorp agreements which may increase by 70 units a year.  Most of these ATMs are in convenience shops.The eFunds agreement with Suncorp expires in September 2015.GRG will pay half the vendors less than half the purchase price upfront. This will be in cash and shares worth A$6.6 million. The balance is payable at the end 2011 and subject to performance hurdles.The transaction values eFunds Group at A$13.3 million, using a multiple of 3.62 x expected calendar 2011 earnings, GRG said.
