GE Money may be on the market

Bloomberg reported on Friday that General Electric may be seeking a buyer or co-investor for its credit card businesses in several markets including Britain and Australia. The news service didn't elaborate on the plan or its sources.

GE Money is already seeking to sell down consumer finance businesses in Japan and India and is also planning to curtail growth its consumer finance business in the US.
