FlexiGroup buys office equipment supplier

The consumer and small business leasing company FlexiGroup has bought the office products and services company, Think Office Technology.Yesterday, FlexiGroup announced that it had entered into an agreement to acquire Think, which is an authorised sales and service supplier for Konica Minolta, Fuji Xerox, Kyocera and Canon. It supplies office equipment, print services and cloud computing throughout regional Queensland.FlexiGroup chief executive Tarek Robbiati said in statement that FlexiGroup currently provides financing to the managed office technology sector and was keen to grow in that market.Robbiati said: "From our experience in the sector, we know our customers are increasingly looking for a single provider to arrange equipment, information technology, service and finance in one invoice."The acquisition is expected to generate A$1.5 million to $2 million of cash earnings as of the 2014/15 financial year. The price of the acquisition was not disclosed.
