Executive changes at Suncorp

Suncorp chief executive Steve Johnston continues to reshape his executive team, with the appointment of a head of banking and wealth, and a new chief financial officer.Johnston, who has held the top job at Suncorp since September, has appointed Lee Hatton as chief executive officer of the group's banking and wealth division.Hatton comes from UBank, where she had been CEO since 2015. She has also worked in executive roles at BNZ, NAB and Greater Western Bank in the United States.She replaces David Carter, who announced his departure in October. He is now CEO of the Queensland motoring body RACQ.Jeremy Robson has been appointed CFO. He has been at Suncorp since 2013 and has been acting CFO, deputy group CFO, Suncorp Life CEO and Suncorp Life CFO. Before joining Suncorp he had executive roles at ANZ, AXA and KPMG.In October, Johnston appointed group general counsel Belinda Speirs to the senior leadership team. She also took on the company secretary role.
