Customers Limited said yesterday that it had appointed John Russell as chief executive. Russell replaces Tim Wildash, whose resignation as CEO of the ATM company was announced only a day earlier by the board.This will be Russell's first CEO-level job and possibly his first job in the payments arena.He joins Customers from AWB, where he has been head of strategy for the last four years.Previously, Russell held management positions at Tabcorp, Ausdoc Information Management and the Australian Leisure and Hospitality Group. He worked for KPMG Consulting prior to ALH, working his way up to director level.
