CHANGE OF CHIEF AT CUSTOMERS
Tim Wildash will take over as managing director of payments business Customers Limited from April once Customers completes the purchase of ATM Solutions from Macquarie Bank.Wildash, the founder and currently chief executive of ATM Solutions will take the helm at Customers from Greg Baker, who will shift into the post of executive chair.In management commentary published in conjunction with the December 2006 half-year profit Customers said that it expected to finalise the takeover of ATM Solutions from April 16. At that stage Customers will own a fleet of more than 5000 ATMs.The introduction of what Customers refers to as service fees, or surcharges, on ATM withdrawals is the chief business goal of the company over the medium term.The company said that it would migrate the ATM fleet of the current Customers business to its associated switching business Strategic Payments Services (owned alongside Bendigo Bank and MasterCard) by mid 2007 and would migrate the fleet of ATMs owned by ATM Solutions to the new switch by early 2008.
