Briefs: Qantas and Citi in talks, Unity Bank begins to trade

Qantas is talking to US financial services giant Citi about launching a new credit card, the Financial Review reports in its Street Talk column. The Citi talks are part of a broader discussion the airline is having with potential partners around financial services. Unity Bank will begin trading today. In making the shift to mutual bank status the Maritime, Mining & Power Credit Union follows in the footsteps of many larger credit unions. Unity Bank brings the number of mutual banks to 19.
