Briefs: Jason Yetton's ghost lives on at Westpac, Heritage Bank appoints interim CFO

09 September 2016 3:43PM
Westpac is so serious about cost saving it appears it has not wasted money updating its customer communications in over a year. A reader sent Banking Day a copy of the letter he received in July with his new debit card, signed by Jason Yetton, group executive Westpac retail and business banking. Yetton left Westpac in June last year and has been the chief executive of SocietyOne since March. Heritage Bank has appointed Paul Williams interim chief financial officer. The bank's CFO Peter Cleary is on extended personal leave. Williams will combine responsibility for the bank's financial operations with his role as chief strategy and investment officer. He has previously served as the bank's treasurer.
