Briefs: Goldfields remittance push, Stargroup stumps up

12 April 2017 3:12PM
Goldfields Money plans to push further into the remittance sector, reaching an understanding with Singapore headquartered InstaRem. Goldfields Money "will provide financial services products to InstaRem", the WA-based ADI said. Goldfields said it was already "among the largest remittance providers in its chosen corridors in 18 months since entering the Australian market." Indue may get paid after all by ATM operator Stargroup Limited for the former's ATM switching, settlement, processing, telecommunications and reseller business. Stargroup told the ASX yesterday, that after a couple of deferrals, it "made the part payment of $2.6 million to Indue." It has until late April to settle the balance.
