Appointments: New COO at Thorn

The general manager of Thorn Group's Radio Rentals division, James Marshall, has been promoted to chief operating officer for the group. Thorn Group's managing director, John Hughes, said the change reflected the group's development of a broader business base. Hughes said he would focus more of his attention on the expansion of the financial services division, which provides small personal loans.
