ANZ said that underlying business conditions in consumer finance, which includes cards, remain solid, and that on the issuing side, there was "strong asset growth in the December quarter," but did not provide any more details.
On the merchant side, the bank said that market share increased to 24 per cent though it's a while since the bank disclosed a merchant market share estimate with which to make a comparison.
