Debt collector and consolidator Repcol has bucked the trend of disappointing results reported elsewhere in the sector and recorded an increase in profit in the half year to December 2002:
• pre tax profit increased to $2.3 million in the six months to December 2002, up from $959,000 in the seven months to June 2002 (Repcol listed, and reported previously, from November 2001).
• net profit increased to $1.4 million in December from $815,000 in June.
• revenue increased to $9.7 million in December from $5.3 million in June.
