Clydesdale writes off school leases
25 September 2012 6:49am
A further Clydesdale Bank misadventure has come to light, with the BBC reporting on the bank's role as one the financiers of a leasing scam that landed at least 160 schools with inflated payments on computer equipment.

Clydesdale – a subsidiary of National Australia Bank – has agreed to waive the remaining payments on the leases for the 27 schools, the BBC reports.

The BBC identified the two leasing firms as LTM and DTS, both based in Hertfordshire.
