ATM operator GRG broke even on its automatic teller machine operations in Australia in the year to June 2012 but reported a loss on its international business.

GRG put its loss for the year at A$1.2 million, down from a loss of $1.8 million in 2011.

GRG made an operating profit of $3.1 million from providing bank-branded ATMs (in non-branch locations) for Suncorp through the eFunds business it acquired two years ago. The eFunds business was not as profitable as the vendors would have liked, with a contingent payment waived during the year.
