Mortgage company Firstfolio has appointed experienced IT executive Michael Coomer as a consultant to the business. Coomer will advise on operations, technology and strategy, the company said, in a statement yesterday.

During a 30-year career Coomer has worked in management roles at IBM Global Services, Rockwell International and Ansett Transport Industries, where he was chief information officer.
