The Australian Securitisation Forum has accused the Australian Prudential Regulation Authority of undermining the Government’s work to support small lenders, through its funding of Australian Office of Financial Management investment in RMBS issues, by changing the regulatory capital treatment of securitisation. » read more »
AMP keeps stirring on Axa

AMP is pushing for National Australia Bank and Axa Asia Pacific to make public a further contract that covers aspects of the proposed takeover by NAB of Axa AP and the subsequent divestment of Asian assets and select wealth management assets in Australia. The Financial Review reported on AMP’s agitation over this contract today.
