On Friday, Telstra and PCCW the joint shareholders in Reach - said that lenders to Reach would be paid US$310.9 million to extinguish the remaining US$1.2 billion in outstanding principal on the loan. Tesltra and PCCW paid the banking syndicate US$300 million in principal last year, via a pre-payment from the shareholders to Reach on the use of the company's cable network. » read more »
